200g flour
200g sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
55 g butter
1 egg
240 ml / 9 fluid ounces hot water
50 g dark chocolate
Preheat oven to 180c/350F, and grease and line a baking tin with grease proof paper.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa powder together in a bowl. Using your fingers rub the margarine in until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the beaten egg and hot water and mix well with a wooden spoon until combined, then add the broken chocolate pieces.
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for about 30 mins.
This is so easy to make, and instead of making a tray cake, you can use the mixture to make chocolate muffins too.....they are so yummy....or like I did make a big cake....
Can miles truly separate you from friends... If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?

Urgh
What to do, what to do?
Do I write a book of my experiences since I was last on here, which I can't believe was infact FOUR years ago, though it does co-inside with the fact my daughter is now 4 so probably has something to do with it!
For all those people out there, probably which nobody will ever read, I am thinking of doing a monthly blog of very easy cooking recipes, most of the things you would have in your cupboard that take under 30 mins to cook because I can't be arsed fanny about to long, just for it to be gobbled down in two seconds flat.
What do you all two of you think that are reading this? Any comments would be most grafefully received......
