Let me be the first to wish you all Happy Easter

Yes you read the title correctly, I read in one of the tabloid papers yesterday that Woolworth's already had EASTER EGGS on sale, for god sake what is this world coming too....
Rant over...
Apart from that everything normal, had a very very very bad hangover yesterday, you would of thought that I was too old for that sort of thing but however, it appears not. Here is the story.... suggested going to pub for a short while and getting a Chinese on way back for tea, all sounds perfectly good so far, got down the pub at 7.30pm ish all intentions to leave about 9.00pm this kept flying out of the window and finally left at 11.30pm ish, all would of been good if it had of been left there, but we got home and a bottle of vodka came out..... need i say more.
I am not looking for sympathy, this is the first time this year that I have suffered so terribly badly the next day.. damn nearly made it a year.

Another xmas gone

Quiet and lovely for me this year, no cooking for 150 people (8, but always felt like it). No hard slog to make it good for everyone else, just me and my new man. We both decided Xmas dinner who needed it, so we had a plateful of homemade chips, honey roast ham and egg. Minimum effort and minimum washing up, lovely.
I slowly demolished a litre bottle of mint chocolate baileys followed by a few vanilla and raspberry vodkas and was quite happily merry when toddled off to bed.
Today puddled about in tidying up the garden, and just on second beer, again just so peaceful no shouting, having to run around after everyone, lovely.....must be time for a snooze soon.....

Finally home

Yep finally made it back from my travels, despite delays due to fog, baggage not being loaded and having to fill forms out at stupid oclock in the morning at gatwick.
Looking at some of your blog sites some of you have had a rough old time, you know who you are. I will over the next few days try and write some witty ancedotes about my travels to cheer the few of you that read this up.

Loving your work.
